The South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) is excited to announce it is accepting applications for cost-share projects to develop alternative water supply projects and water conservation projects as part of the State of Florida’s continuing efforts to identify and implement cost-effective strategies to protect the its water resources while meeting Florida’s water needs.

South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) continues to take action to help alleviate high water conditions in the Central Everglades. Today, SFWMD is installing temporary pumps in southern Palm Beach County to help reduce high water levels in the Central Everglades. The temporary pumps are located just west of the S-39 structure on the northern border of Water Conservation Area (WCA) 2A in Broward County and the southern border of the Arthur R.
