South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) Executive Director Drew Bartlett provided an update this afternoon from the SFWMD’s Emergency Operations Center on the District’s response efforts for Hurricane Nicole.
The storm brought an average of 2-3 inches of rain in the northern portions of SFWMD's boundary. Regional water management systems responded well to the rainfall as it passed through the SFWMD region in the last 24 hours. No major issues were reported during the storm.

The South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) is rescheduling the November Governing Board Meeting to Friday, November 18, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. due to Tropical Storm Nicole. The meeting was scheduled for Thursday, November 10.
