South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) continues to take action to help alleviate high water conditions in the Central Everglades. Today, SFWMD is installing temporary pumps in southern Palm Beach County to help reduce high water levels in the Central Everglades. The temporary pumps are located just west of the S-39 structure on the northern border of Water Conservation Area (WCA) 2A in Broward County and the southern border of the Arthur R.

The South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) is taking another step to expedite and complete the Everglades Agricultural Area (EAA) Reservoir Project at the direction of Gov. Ron DeSantis. With full funding in place, SFWMD began advertising the final contract today for the Stormwater Treatment Area component of the EAA Reservoir Project that moves clean water from Lake Okeechobee south to the Everglades. Bids are anticipated to be opened in January 2021.

As part of the South Florida Water Management District's (SFWMD) ongoing efforts to expand transparency, public access and engagement, you are invited to volunteer to help us test a new program we will launch next year called DBHydroInsights.
