The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) - Jacksonville District is seeking public comments on the Draft Environmental Assessment of the Central and Southern Florida (C&SF) Flood Resiliency (Section 203) Study - Broward Basins. The Proposed Finding of No Significant Impact is included as part of this review. The South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) is encouraging stakeholders and the public to share their comments upon review of these documents.

The deadline to submit comments is February 20, 2026. All comments must be emailed to CESAJ-BrowardResilience203Study@usace.army.mil.
The goal of this study is to develop, evaluate and recommend flood risk management measures and adaptation strategies to build flood resiliency in areas served by the C&SF system, now and in the future.
The objective of this study is to enhance the existing C&SF system water control structures by improving functionality and capacity to reduce flood damages.
