Seeking Public Input on the Draft Environmental Assessment of the Central and Southern Florida Flood Resiliency Study - Broward Basins

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) - Jacksonville District is seeking public comments on the Draft Environmental Assessment of the Central and Southern Florida (C&SF) Flood Resiliency (Section 203) Study - Broward Basins. The Proposed Finding of No Significant Impact is included as part of this review. The South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) is encouraging stakeholders and the public to share their comments upon review of these documents.  

Final 2025 King Tide Season Forecast

The South Florida Water Management District's Tidal Outlook for the forecast period of December 1, 2025 through December 7, 2025, is now available. Tidal water levels along Florida’s southeast coast may exceed the National Weather Service (NWS) "Minor Flooding" threshold. In the Florida Keys, tidal water levels may approach or exceed the "Minor Flooding" threshold. Along Florida's southwest coast, tidal water levels may approach the "Minor Flooding" threshold. 

Weekly King Tide Forecast

The South Florida Water Management District's Tidal Outlook for the forecast period of November 24, 2025 through November 30, 2025, is now available. Along Florida's southeast coast and in the Florida Keys, tidal water levels may remain below the National Weather Service (NWS) "Minor Flooding" threshold throughout the forecast period, with a potential minor rise towards the end of the period. Along Florida's southwest coast, tidal water levels may remain below the National Weather Service (NWS) "Minor Flooding" threshold throughout the forecast period. 

SFWMD Seeking Public Input on Draft Integrated Feasibility Report and Environmental Evaluation

As part of the South Florida Water Management District's (SFWMD) ongoing resiliency efforts, we are encouraging stakeholders and the public to share their comments on the Central and Southern Florida (C&SF) Flood Resiliency Study (Section 203) – Broward Basins Draft Integrated Feasibility Report and Environmental Evaluation. The South Florida Water Management District's Tidal Outlook for the forecast period of November 17, 2025 through November 23, 2025, is now available. Along Florida's southeast and southwest coasts and in the Florida Keys, tidal water levels may remain below the National Weather Service (NWS) "Minor Flooding" threshold throughout the forecast period.

Weekly King Tide Forecast

The South Florida Water Management District's Tidal Outlook for the forecast period of November 10, 2025 through November 16, 2025, is now available. Along Florida's southeast and southwest coasts, tidal water levels may remain below the National Weather Service (NWS) "Minor Flooding" threshold. In the Florida Keys, tidal levels may approach the "Minor Flooding" threshold early in the forecast period and may remain below that threshold through the middle and later portions of the forecast period.

The South Florida Water Management District's Tidal Outlook for the forecast period of November 3, 2025 through November 9, 2025, is now available. Tidal water levels along Florida's southeast coast may exceed the National Weather Service (NWS) "Minor Flooding" threshold throughout the forecast period and may approach or exceed the "Moderate Flooding" threshold between November 5 and November 7. In the Florida Keys and along the southwest coast, water levels may exceed the NWS "Minor Flooding" threshold.

The South Florida Water Management District's Tidal Outlook for the forecast period of October 27, 2025 through November 2, 2025, is now available. Tidal water levels along Florida’s southeast coast may remain below the National Weather Service (NWS) “Minor Flooding” threshold but may approach or exceed that threshold toward the end of the forecast period. In the Florida Keys, tidal levels may exceed the NWS “Minor Flooding” threshold at high tide early in the forecast period before subsiding by mid- to late week.

The South Florida Water Management District's Tidal Outlook for the forecast period of October 20, 2025 through October 26, 2025, is now available. Tidal water levels along Florida's southeast coast and the Florida Keys may exceed the National Weather Service (NWS) "Minor Flooding" threshold. On the southwest coast, tidal water levels may remain below the NWS "Minor Flooding" threshold.

Tidal water levels along Florida's southeast coast and the Florida Keys may continue to exceed the National Weather Service (NWS) "Minor Flooding" threshold in the near term, however these levels may fall below the threshold as the end of the forecast period approaches. On the southwest coast, tidal water levels may remain below the NWS "Minor Flooding" threshold.
