The South Florida Water Management District's Tidal Outlook for the forecast period of September 28, 2026 through October 4, 2026, is now available. Tidal water levels along South Florida's east coast may remain above the NWS "Moderate Flooding" threshold, with a potential to gradually subside toward the end of the forecast period. In the Florida Keys, tidal water levels may remain above the NWS “Minor Flooding” threshold. Along Florida's southwest coast, tidal water levels may remain below the NWS "Minor Flooding" threshold.

The South Florida Water Management District's Tidal Outlook for the forecast period of September 21, 2026 through September 27, 2026, is now available. Tidal water levels along South Florida's east coast and in the Florida Keys, may approach the NWS "Minor Flooding" threshold. Along Florida's southwest coast, tidal water levels may remain below the NWS "Minor Flooding" threshold. 

The South Florida Water Management District's Tidal Outlook for the forecast period of September 14, 2026 through September 20, 2026, is now available. Tidal water levels along South Florida's east and west coasts and in the Florida Keys may remain below the NWS "Minor Flooding" threshold throughout the forecast period.

The 2026 king tide season is starting, and the South Florida Water Management District (District) is publishing weekly Tidal Outlooks. These outlooks will be shared weekly throughout the season. The updates are intended to inform interested stakeholders and the public.

This is a reminder that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) - Jacksonville District is seeking public comments on the Draft Environmental Assessment of the Central and Southern Florida (C&SF) Flood Resiliency (Section 203) Study - Broward Basins. The Proposed Finding of No Significant Impact is included as part of this review. The South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) is encouraging stakeholders and the public to share their comments upon review of these documents.
