The South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) will be hosting two upcoming meetings about the North of Lake Okeechobee Storage Reservoir (LOCAR) Section 203 Study.
Meeting #1
When: Tuesday, August 1, 2023
Where: Okeechobee Service Center (Downstairs Conference Room), 316 Northwest 5th Street, Okeechobee, FL 34972.
Time: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Meeting Format: In-Person
An Open House on the North of Lake Okeechobee Storage Reservoir (LOCAR) Section 203 Study will take place. Technical staff from the SFWMD will be available to answer questions about the project. No formal presentation will take place during this meeting.

Time: 2:00 p.m.
Meeting Format: Virtual - Zoom Registration Link
This meeting will be held to review the alternatives considered, the proposed plan, and the project benefits. Members of the public will be able to ask questions and provide public comment at the meeting.
