The South Florida Water Management District (District) is advancing the Central and Southern Florida (C&SF) Flood Resiliency Study – Broward Basins in collaboration with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers with support from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and Broward County utilizing Section 203 of the Water Resources Development Act of 1986.
The District is hosting a public meeting to present the Draft Integrated Feasibility Report and Environmental Evaluation and to receive public comments.

The goal of this study is to develop, evaluate and recommend flood risk management measures and adaptation strategies to build flood resiliency in areas served by the C&SF system, now and in the future. The objective of this study is to enhance the existing C&SF system water control structures by improving functionality and capacity to reduce flood damages and improve resiliency.
