OKEECHOBEE, Fla. - The pedestrian bridge over the S-191 water control structure at Nubbin Slough on the north shore of Lake Okeechobee will be periodically closed to public access over the next few months to ensure public safety during ongoing construction work.

March 5, 2021 - Today, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced increased releases from Lake Okeechobee. South Florida Water Management District Communications Director Sean Cooley released the following statement:
