Public Service Recognition Week kicks off on Sunday, May 3, serving as an important reminder of the essential role the South Florida Water Management District's staff plays in managing and protecting our region’s water resources.

EFFECTIVELY MANAGING OUR WATER RESOURCES: From Orlando to the Florida Keys, District staff is working every day to effectively manage water that moves through the District's canals, natural areas, levees and water control structures. We continue to advance key restoration projects that are improving the quantity, quality, timing and distribution of water within the Greater Everglades Ecosystem.
