Boats wider than 25 feet or longer than 75 feet will not be able to use the S-310 Boat Lock on Oct. 28-29 from 5:30 a.m.-8 p.m. due to routine lock maintenance. Boats narrower than 25 feet in width or shorter than 75 feet in length will still be allowed to access the boat lock on those days.

The S-310 Boat Lock near Clewiston is now operational. The lock's hours of operation are 5:30 a.m. - 9 p.m. The lock will be closed and not available to pass through after hours. Starting Oct. 1, the boat lock will be open from 5:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.

The South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) is reopening navigational locks today and tomorrow. Locks had been temporarily closed as Tropical Storm Isaias moved through the region.
