GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE DISCUSSED: 
The 5-year update to the Lower Kissimmee Basin Water Supply Plan Update (LKB Plan Update) will assess current and projected water needs in the LKB Planning Area through 2045. The LKB Planning Area includes portions of Glades, Okeechobee, and Highlands counties (generally northwest of Lake Okeechobee) and the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Brighton Reservation. Meeting content will include the 2024 LKB Plan Update overview, goals, objectives, and draft population and demand projections. The most recent LKB Plan Update was approved in 2019.

The meeting will be recorded, and the link will be made available on the LKB Plan Update webpage at SFWMD.gov/lkbplan at the conclusion of the meeting.
