    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE DISCUSSED: 

    The Everglades Technical Oversight Committee meeting is a public meeting held quarterly to provide an update on water quality conditions in the Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge and at inflows to Everglades National Park relative to the 1991 Settlement Agreement, entered as a Consent Decree in 1992, and modified in 1995.

    The Governing Board of the South Florida Water Management District will discuss and consider District business, including regulatory and non-regulatory matters.

    The public and stakeholders may comment on the meeting(s) by attending in person or using an online public comment form ahead of the meeting(s). The online public comment form will open at 12:00 PM on May 6,and remain open until 12:00 PM on May 10, to ensure the Board has time to review the written public comments. Note: This location does not have the capacity for virtual public comment.

    Lower West Coast Water Supply Plan Update Stakeholder Meeting #2

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE DISCUSSED: 

    The 2022 Lower West Coast Water Supply Plan Update (2022 LWC Plan Update) will assess current and projected water needs in the LWC planning area through 2045. The LWC planning area includes Lee County and portions of Collier, Glades, Hendry, Monroe, and Charlotte counties. Meeting content will include updates for the LWC on SFWMD water resource protection measures, Everglades restoration projects, regional groundwater modeling including saltwater interface mapping, and resiliency initiatives. The most recent LWC Water Supply Plan Update was approved in 2017. The 2022 LWC Update is scheduled to be completed by November 2022.

    One or more members of the Governing Board of the South Florida Water Management District may attend this meeting. No Governing Board action will be taken.

    The meeting will be recorded and the link will be made available on the LWC Plan Update webpage at SFWMD.gov/lwcplan at the conclusion of the meeting.
