Detailed Inspection of S-310 Navigation Lock Scheduled

A comprehensive inspection of the S-310 navigation lock near Clewiston will require the lock to be closed to boat traffic Jan. 10 and 11.

The S-310 navigation lock provides for navigation to and from Lake Okeechobee and the C-21 Canal, which is the site of the Clewiston Public Boat Ramp. The lock also provides access to marinas, commercial fishing facilities and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Tug Boat Basin of the Industrial Canal.
