The South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) - Jacksonville District continue to advance the Central and Southern Florida (C&SF) Flood Resiliency Study - Miami River Basins under Section 216 of the Flood Control Act of 1970.

The USACE - Jacksonville District is hosting a virtual public meeting to present the Draft Final Array of Alternatives. The SFWMD encourages stakeholders and the public to attend and participate as we continue collaboration to advance regional flood protection planning.

Reminder: 2026 Upper East Coast Water Supply Plan Update Stakeholder Meeting #2

Join the South Florida Water Management District for the second public meeting about the 2026 Upper East Coast (UEC) Water Supply Plan Update. This meeting will provide updates on SFWMD initiatives for water resource protection measures, Everglades restoration projects, saltwater interface mapping, and assessing changing conditions in the UEC Planning Area through 2050. The planning area includes all of Martin and St. Lucie counties, and the northeastern portion of Okeechobee County.
