S-131 Boat Lock in Glades County Will Temporarily Close April 11-12

GLADES COUNTY, Fla. - The S-131 Boat Lock on Lake Okeechobee at Lakeport in Glades County will temporarily close to navigation for routine maintenance from April 11-12, 2023. The lock is expected to re-open on April 13, 2023.

Taylor Creek S-193 Boat Lock Will Re-Open Tomorrow, Saturday, April 1

OKEECHOBEE COUNTY, Fla. - The Taylor Creek S-193 Boat Lock on Lake Okeechobee's North Shore will re-open on Saturday, April 1. The repair work is complete. All other boat locks maintained by the South Florida Water Management District are open.

Taylor Creek S-193 Boat Lock is Out of Service

OKEECHOBEE COUNTY, Fla. - The Taylor Creek S-193 Boat Lock on Lake Okeechobee's North Shore is temporarily closed to navigation until further notice. The Boat Lock will re-open as soon as possible. Other boat locks maintained by the South Florida Water Management District will remain open during this time period.

The boat lock is expected to re-open by Friday, Jan. 6, 2023. Other boat locks maintained by the South Florida Water Management District will remain open during this time period.
