Naples, FL – The South Florida Water Management District's (SFWMD) Big Cypress Basin (BCB) protects nearly 400,000 residents in Collier and portions of Monroe counties from flooding every day. As part of its effort to educate the public on its efforts, SFWMD this week released an educational video detailing the BCB's system and the work performed by staff to provide flood protection, ensure water supply and restore the environment.
