GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE DISCUSSED: 

This is the fourth workshop to be held for review of rulemaking activities for the proposed Kissimmee River and Chain of Lakes water reservations for the protection of fish and wildlife. At the June 09, 2020 public workshop, the District will discuss currently proposed rule language and the technical and scientific basis of the water reservations. A copy of the workshop agenda, current draft Technical Document to Support Water Reservations for the Kissimmee River and Chain of Lakes (Technical Document), draft rules and relevant parts of the Applicant’s Handbook for Water Use Permit Applications within the South Florida Water Management District will be available on the District’s webpage at www.sfwmd.gov/our-work/water-reservations under the Kissimmee tab two weeks prior to the workshop.
