GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE DISCUSSED: 

The South Florida Water Management District announces a public hearing regarding its annual final ad valorem millage rates and final budget.

The public and stakeholders will have an opportunity to view and comment on the public hearing by utilizing the link found on the District’s website at www.SFWMD.gov/meetings, which will go live at approximately 5:15 PM on September 22, 2020. District staff will be available to provide technical assistance.

The Governing Board will receive and consider public comment and vote separately on the Fiscal Year 2020-2021 final ad valorem millage rates and final budget. The Governing Board may discuss and consider District business, including regulatory and non-regulatory matters.

The Governing Board may take official action on any item appearing on the agenda for the public hearing and on any item that is added to the agenda for the public hearing as a result of a change to the agenda approved by the presiding officer of the public hearing pursuant to Section 120.525, Florida Statutes.

All of this public hearing will be conducted via media technology.
