GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE DISCUSSED: 

The 2022 Lower West Coast Water Supply Plan Update (2022 LWC Plan Update) will assess current and projected water needs in the LWC planning area through 2045. The LWC planning area includes Lee County and portions of Collier, Glades, Hendry, Monroe, and Charlotte counties. Meeting content will include updates for the LWC on SFWMD water resource protection measures, Everglades restoration projects, regional groundwater modeling including saltwater interface mapping, and resiliency initiatives. The most recent LWC Water Supply Plan Update was approved in 2017. The 2022 LWC Update is scheduled to be completed by November 2022.

One or more members of the Governing Board of the South Florida Water Management District may attend this meeting. No Governing Board action will be taken.

The meeting will be recorded and the link will be made available on the LWC Plan Update webpage at SFWMD.gov/lwcplan at the conclusion of the meeting.
