GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE DISCUSSED:
The Governing Board of the South Florida Water Management District will hold a Public Hearing to discuss proposed boundary modifications to the District’s Five Year (Florida Forever) Work Plan (Section 373.199, Florida Statutes and Section 373.139(3), Florida Statutes). The proposed modifications move the initial project footprint about one mile to the west and increases the originally planned acres of the Project Component from 904 acres to 1,583.29 acres. All of the lands are located within the Indian River Lagoon - South, CERP Project in St. Lucie County.
The Governing Board may take official action at the meeting on any item appearing on the agenda and on any item that is added to the agenda as a result of a change to the agenda approved by the presiding officer of the meeting pursuant to Section 120.525, Florida Statutes.
The meeting agenda containing information on this public hearing will be posted to the District’s website www.SFWMD.gov/meetings, seven days prior to the meeting. Or, you can email Rosie Byrd at rbyrd@sfwmd.gov seven days prior to the meeting.
