Water Resources Accountability and Collaboration
A Commitment to Accountability and Collaboration
The South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) is committed to facilitating as much communication and collaboration as possible with the public we serve to ensure diverse perspectives and viewpoints are represented.
To accomplish this mission, the SFWMD Governing Board created two Water Resources Accountability and Collaboration (WRAC) groups in July 2019 to address both routine and ad hoc issues. To encourage public participation, all WRAC meetings are live streamed online. The public is also welcome to provide public comment at meetings.
WRAC Public Forum
The WRAC Public Forum is an open forum consisting of designated representatives from stakeholder groups such as members of environmental groups, public interest groups, the business community, agriculture, water supply utilities and local governments. The forum will meet periodically to give a balanced representation of the diverse perspectives and viewpoints on water resource issues.
The forum will facilitate public discussion, participation and comment on critical water management issues and will serve to gather information, facts and viewpoints. For more information about WRAC, please click on the links below:

WRAC Ad Hoc Advisory Body
When issues arise that require the South Florida Water Management District Governing Board to seek specific recommendations or explore specific topics, the Board may create an ad hoc body. This body meets upon direction from the Governing Board.
At this time, no WRAC Ad Hoc Advisory Bodies have been activated.
