South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) Governing Board Member Clarke Harlow will speak Saturday, March 11, at the 15th Annual Broward Water Matters event co-sponsored by SFWMD, Broward County, Broward County Public Schools and others. The event focuses on water conservation and how water managers are planning to meet future water needs. Those in attendance will receive tips on water conservation, find out about rebates and other incentives for upgrading to water-conserving devices, while learning how to create "Florida-friendly," drought-tolerant landscapes.
Harlow, a lifelong Broward County resident and the owner and founder of Southeast Landscape Management, will speak about water conservation as a shared responsibility, as well as alternative water supply and other projects that ensure the future of South Florida.
