The South Florida Water Management District works in partnership with local, federal and other state governments, as well as with community groups and stakeholder groups to improve water supply, flood control, water quality and environmental protection throughout the region. These partnerships may include providing grants to develop alternative water supplies, water conservation strategies or education programs. We also work with partners to improve local and regional stormwater and flood control systems and develop restoration or water quality improvement projects or monitoring systems.
