The Orlando Service Center provides local access to the District's regulatory program for citizens, special interest groups and local governments. The regulatory staff of the Orlando Service Center manages and protects the region's water resources through:

  1. analysis and issuance of permits,
  2. inspections to determine compliance with permit conditions, and
  3. enforcement actions.

The components include Environmental Resource Permits (water quality, flood protection and wetlands), Water Use Permits, Right of Way Permits and post permit compliance for all permitting programs. The objective is to provide a balance by integrating responsible development with the goals of natural resource enhancement and protection.
