This Service Center's mission is to provide a local community perspective in the development of SFWMD water resource policies and implementation of water resources management initiatives in the Miami-Dade County area. The Center coordinates the resolution of water resource issues with jurisdictional governments, agencies and affected communities; implements District-wide and local water resource initiatives; and communicates the complexities of water resource management to Dade County residents.
Governing Board members Michael Collins and Melissa L. Meeker are at-large appointees, representing areas which include Miami-Dade County.
