Public Meetings & Events

The Governing Board of the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) meets monthly, at the agency's headquarters in West Palm Beach, as well as at sites throughout the 16 counties included within the SFWMD, including in Southwest Florida.

The Big Cypress Basin hosts bi-monthly meetings of its Board: usually on a variety of issues relevant to the region.

Special meetings, often in concert with local governments or business/community groups, are also sometimes scheduled throughout the region, to discuss topics of particular interest to a part of the region, or to solicit feedback from various parts of the public and stakeholders.
