SFWMD Project Tours for
National and International Visitors

In fulfilling its vision to be the world's premier water resource agency, SFWMD attracts attention from visitors far and near. Scientists, engineers, professors, government officials and other professionals come to South Florida to learn about what SFWMD is doing in: environmental restoration, water quality improvement, water supply, flood control, construction, and much more.

"We have some of the best scientists, engineers, planners and other professionals in the world, doing things that have never been done before on the scale we're doing them," said Executive Director Carol Wehle. "Our tour program allows us to share our projects and gives us the opportunity to learn from what others are doing around the world."
